Lexi is the founder and host of Desert Salon.
Since 2018, Desert Salon has been held annually in Joshua Tree, CA. Attendees have worked on novels, short stories, screenplays, essays, poetry, and more. Since then, we’ve had major successes—projects developed at Desert Salon have gone on to be featured in major national magazines, literary magazines, anthologies, and podcast episodes.
Both emerging and established writers are invited to apply. Now open for the 2022 retreat.
